Itinerary

Day 1Guwahati Airport – Shillong (140 Kms / 04 hours)

On arrival in Guwahati Airport our representative will meet and greet you and you will be transferred to Shillong. On the way to Shillong we will visit Umiam lake. Check in at Shillong Hotel.
Dinner and Overnight stay in hotel.

Day 2Shillong – Cherrapunjee – Shillong (60 Kms / 2 hours-One way)

Breakfast at the Hotel.

This day is for an excursion to Cherrapunjee (60 kms/ 2 hrs approx. one way) – the wettest spot on the earth. In transit visit the acclaimed Elephant Falls and Shillong Peak. At Cherrapunjee we will visit – Mawsmai Cave, Mawsmai Falls, Seven Sisters Falls and Nohkalikai Falls. After lunch at Cherrapunjee, visit Thankarang Park, Koh Ramhah. We will return back to Shillong.

Day 3Shillong - Mawlynnong - Dawki / Shillong (194 Kms / 06 hours travelling)

Post breakfast, we will leave for a whole day excursion to Mawlynnong:
Mawlynnong Village has earned the qualification of being the cleanest village in India. It is located 90 kms from Shillong what’s more the pleasant town, offers many intriguing sights, for example, the living root bridge and another interesting regular wonder of a boulder balancing on another rock.
Mawlynnong settled in the flawless slope territory of Meghalaya, is along the Indo-Bangla border. This adorable and vivid little village is known for its cleanliness.

Later, we will proceed to visit Dawki river.

Dawki: Dawki lies however 2 Kms from Bangladesh. Despite the fact that the territory is situated in a spot that has been for a considerable length of time demanding development. Dawki is a little village and its primary attraction is the Umngot River that marks the natural separation between the Khasi and the Jaintia Hills. Day 4Shillong – Kaziranga (325 Kms / 07 hours)

On this day we will leave for Kaziranga. Check in at Kaziranga hotel and rest of the day is at Leisure.

Day 5Kaziranga – Bomdila (210 Kms / 06 hours)

Early morning, we will leave to experience the Western Zone of Kaziranga National Park on back of elephant. Aside from world’s one of the dangerous One-horned Rhinoceros, the Park sustains a large portion of the total population of Wild Water Buffaloes, more than 1000 Wild elephants and maybe the large number of Royal Bengal Tigers anywhere. Kaziranga is additionally a bird watcher’s heaven and home to somewhere in the range of 500 types of birds. The Crested Serpent Eagle, Pallas Fishing Eagle, Grey headed Fishing Eagle, Swamp Partridge, Bar-headed goose, whistling Teal, Bengal Florican, Storks, Herons and Pelicans are a some of the animal types found here.

We will return back to Hotel to have morning breakfast.

Post breakfast we will leave for Bomdila and on arrival in Bomdila, we will visit Bomdila monastery. We will likewise visit the splendid scenes and snow clad Gorichen ranges of The Himalayas with its apple plantations, Buddhist Gompa and the amazing view on the Kameng valley.

Day 6Bomdila – Tawang (170 Kms / 06 hours)

On this day we will to Tawang. And on the way we will come across or visit Sela Pass, Jaswant Garh, Nuranang waterfalls, etc. Check in at the Tawang Hotel.

Day 7Tawang

Breakfast at the Hotel.

Post breakfast, we will tour Tawang in and out, visiting Tawang Monastery, Buddhist Monasteries, Urgelling Monasteries, Tawang war memorial, Tawang local bazaar. Visit PTSO Lake, Nagula Lak e, Madhuri Lake and China Border.

Day 8Tawang – Dirang (130 Kms / 05 hours)

Breakfast at the Hotel.

We will leave for approx. 03 hours’ drive to Dirang. Here you will come across houses made of stone, lovely Apple Orchards and sheep breeding farms. It is additionally well known for its hot spring.

Day 9Dirang – Bhalukpong (139 Kms / 05 hours)

Breakfast at the Hotel.

Early morning after breakfast we will leave for Bhalukpong. Enroute we will visit Tippi Orchid Centre. On reaching Bhalukpong check in at hotel. Rest of the day at leisure.

Day 10Bhalukpong - Guwahati (216 Kms / 06 hours)

Breakfast at the Hotel.

After breakfast we will return back to Guwahati. On arrival in Guwahati we will visit Kamakhya temple, Sankardev Kalakshetra, Umananda temple. In evening you have an option to go for Alfresco cruise ride (on additional cost) in the mighty Brahmaputra. Check in at hotel.
